Do you want an opportunity to serve with compassion and help others? We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with disabilities in their neighborhood home. Our Caregivers / DSPs provide support to adults living in CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) with around-the-clock care. Developmental Foundations, a family owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring 1st shift and 2nd shift Caregivers / DSPs at our homes in ­­­­­Charleston, IL.

Pay

• $17.00/hour

• DSP training is provided and paid. Once trained, you will become a certified DSP and will be added to the Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR)

Qualifications

• DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
• Entry level position

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Successfully complete background check
• Weekend/holiday availability may be required

Responsibilities

• Companionship
• Housekeeping and meal prep
• Assistance with medication
• Assistance with personal care, including bathing and toileting
• Ability to stay alert and responsive
